Mr. Guagenty is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the New England School of Law. Mr. Guagenty was admitted to both the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1994.

Mr. Guagenty's  practice over the years has spanned a wide range of subject areas in the world of insurance litigation including  commercial general liability, commercial auto, product liability,premises liability, MCAD, taxation and construction matters. 

Mr. Guagenty’s present focus is in the area of large loss property subrogation for a number of insurers. This practice includes or has included cases in the New England area, New York, many stops down the eastern seaboard, and others across the country. Mr. Guagenty works with several lawyers and experts across the country assisting with the critical factors of subrogation including immediate response, preservation, evidence retention, spoliation prevention and proper notice.  He is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals and lectures locally on the subject at various carrier locations.

Mr. Guagenty has litigated matters before the state District and Superior Courts, the United States District Court, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and argued before the Massachusetts Department of Revenue Taxation Board of Appeals and the Massachusetts Appellate Division of the District Court.
